Rod and Brenda have been married for 46 years. They have three children and eight grandchildren. The Rutherfords live in Powell, TN, a suburb of Knoxville. Rod is the Evangelist for the Gatlinburg church of Christ where Brenda teaches a children's Bible class. They have served as missionaries in Zambia (Africa) and Tasmania (Australia).
